Established in 2013, Kojo was originally introduced to cater the growing demands of premium Japanese cuisines in Bahrain. The immense success of the first restaurant in Durrat prompted the opening of the next three branches in Zayed Town, Juffair, and Saar. Consecutively, the introduction of the three restaurants has been a huge success and it made Kojo the household name that it is today.

To date, I have probably visited this restaurant at least 25 times. The staff knows me and anticipates my needs. I am big on sashimi and it is always a part of every meal I have. Their selection for sashimi is not very wide but it is good. If you’re only looking for the basic sashimi like salmon, tuna and octopus this is a great place with generous portions.
Very nice! Comfortable dining experience fast efficient staff and the food was absolutely delicious! Everything, appetizers, soup and sushi! Mouthwatering presentation when delivered! It looked like the menu! Perfect!

Its a place I regularly go to for sushi and other Japanese cuisine, its delicious and offers a nice variety of sushis for you to try. The décor is very nice and the staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and responsive. Suitable to dine-in alone, or with family and friends. Can get busy on holidays and weekends.
Excellent Japanese food restaurant with a good diverse menu. I tend to take people that are not use to Japanese food there since it caters more to the casual client.
Kojo is one of the best three sushi bar in Bahrain. All the selection are simply delicious specially the Prawn Tamboura Maki, Volcano Maki, and Lobster Maki. We normally start with shrimp popcorn salad and take the above named sushi and we ned up with no space for desert!
Me and my girl were in the mood for sushi. We happen to be riding around Isa Town when she looked up this place. And let me tell you, it was a winner. People were very nice and the service was excellent. We intend to go back there soon. This is a 5 star restaurant with 5 star service!

Personally, I did not like sushi. I’ve tried it many times in many different restaurants. One day one of my friends told me I must try Kojo restaurant, one special dish called smoke lava and I felt in love with it. You all must try it!
Hello there all sushi lovers. Am I the only one who loves Kojo? I mean, up to that point you spent half of your salary on their dishes? Well that’s how much I love this place. I’d have never thought of finding such a cozy and amazing sushi restaurant in such a small mall. But it’s well worth your time and money.
